Save time and clicks with the new Convercent administrator navigation

Everything you need is at your fingertips, thanks to a streamlined navigation experience

We have exciting news for Convercent administrators: your Convercent experience is getting a major overhaul.

There’s a lot of good stuff in the Convercent application—stuff that makes you better at your job, keeps you organized, and gives you visibility into everything you need to stay compliant. But we don’t want all that good stuff to be like buried treasure, hidden behind a series of clicks. We want it to be right at your fingertips, accessible at a moment’s notice.

That’s why, on May 18th, we’re debuting this new Convercent administrator navigation experience, tried and tested by members of our Early Access Program so we could get feedback and make improvements before rolling it out to our entire userbase.

Here’s what’s new:

The navigation menu has moved

Until now, you’ve found the navigation menu across the top of your Convercent dashboard. Now, it’s moved to a vertical position, freeing up valuable white space for better functionality.

The menu can be minimized or pinned in place

If you want a full-screen view of what you’re working on, whether that’s an ongoing case or an employee engagement campaign, the menu is minimized by default. But if you’re moving quickly from one task to another, you don’t have to repeatedly open and close the menu—you can pin it in place so it’s always visible when you need it.

Shortcuts to your most important tools

Throughout recent months, our users have told us there are a few particular tools that you use all the time that only accessible via a series of clicks. Now, the most frequently used pages are accessible with just one click, right in the navigation menu. Examples include campaign manager, campaign completion report, and the employee scorecard.

What early users are saying

We rolled out this new experience to a select group of power users on April 6. The early access group got their hands on the new navigation with no guidance or documentation, so that we could test how intuitive and easy-to-use the experience was right off the bat.

Claire Lawrence, Senior Corporate Paralegal at AFL, was part of the Early Access Program and had this to say about the new navigation: “It was super easy to jump in and catch on. I’ve already found that it’s going to be a real timesaver for my team…my favorite feature [in Convercent] is the Employee Scorecard, and now it has its own button [in the navigation menu].”

It was important to us that we get this new navigation experience right for our users, so this early access group tested the experience and provided us feedback along the way.

The roll-out

Administrators get first dibs on this new experience—it rolls out on May 18th. That gives you time to find your way around and prepare your teams before moderators and participants get a new navigation experience in July.

Why now

As the Convercent application grew and added more features, our existing navigation didn’t keep up. We didn’t want anything to get in between our users and the tools they needed most, so it was time for an update. Our goal is always to make your lives easier—so we created a new Convercent administrator navigation that gets you where you need to go quickly and easily.

We look forward to hearing your feedback on the new experience. You’ll find an entire resource center on the new navigation experience here in the CONVERGE community. As always, if you have questions or comments, reach out to your Convercent Customer Success Manager—or find support documentation and our user community at support.convercent.com.
