Everything You Need to Know About CONVERGE21

Good news–CONVERGE21, the most innovative thought leadership conference in ethics and compliance, is back! Registration is now open, and you can click here to save your spot. CONVERGE21 is online this October, so you can attend from the convenience of home, your office, or your remote work station.

What is CONVERGE?

CONVERGE is an online community, event series, and resource provider for the ethics and compliance profession. It’s completely free to sign up, and members get access to regular interactive events, active discussion threads on common ethics and compliance challenges, and the CONVERGE center of excellence, with content created by industry experts.

CONVERGE21 is this year’s flagship CONVERGE conference.

When and where is CONVERGE21?

CONVERGE21 will take place online, October 12-13, 2021. Sessions will “follow the sun” so whether you’re in Asia, Europe, Africa, or the Americas, you’ll be able to attend at a time that’s convenient for your local time zone.

Who should attend?

If your work relates to ethics and compliance, this event is for you. Whether you’re a CECO, a General Counsel, a consultant, a new Compliance Manager, or a student considering a career in compliance, there will be content at CONVERGE21 that challenges your entrenched thinking, widens your horizons, and teaches you something new.

What will I learn?

As always at CONVERGE events, CONVERGE21 content will run the gamut from tactical, operations-focused sessions to strategic and inspirational keynotes. You’ll learn how to manage compliance processes more effectively, how to use your compliance technology to its maximum potential, what the future holds for ethics and compliance, and how to communicate the value of your compliance program to your Board of Directors and other stakeholders.

Can I earn CEUs and CLEs at CONVERGE21?

Yes! The conference will be accredited in Colorado for CLEs and each attendee must take the certificate, apply, and pay the fee in their state. The CEU and CLE applications need to be reviewed and approved; that can take up to six weeks. We will email certificates to all attendees once they are approved.

What’s on the agenda?

When it comes to topics, the CONVERGE21 team has identified the most relevant and timely challenges that are facing compliance practitioners today and used those to build the agenda. That means we’ll cover:

  • The EU Whistleblower Protection Directive
  • ESG and DEI
  • Preparing for compliant, ethical IPOs and M&A
  • Anti-retaliation
  • Artificial intelligence and its ethical implications
  • Return to work

Across the two days of CONVERGE21, you’ll have your choice of keynotes, CECO panels, and breakout sessions—all presented live, so you can ask questions and participate in the chat. Plus, networking breaks give you the opportunity to instantly connect with other attendees.

Does it cost money to attend?

CONVERGE21 is completely free to attend, from start to finish—and beyond. With TrustWeek by OneTrust kicking off immediately after CONVERGE21 ends, you’ll get free access to two more days of thought leadership and product innovation content included in your CONVERGE21 ticket.

What’s TrustWeek and what does it have to do with CONVERGE21?

Earlier this year, Convercent joined forces with OneTrust, and we’re proud to partner with them as we present CONVERGE21 and TrustWeek back-to-back. Your CONVERGE21 ticket grants you full access to both events.

TrustWeek takes place October 14-15 and includes more keynotes, panels, and thought leadership sessions on privacy, GRC, ESG, and more. Click here to learn more about TrustWeek.
