The single most impactful compliance event is returning as an all-new, virtual experience for the ethics and compliance profession.
I remember receiving a call from our CEO, Patrick Quinlan, in early March asking how I felt about COVID as it related to CONVERGE20 Europe. It was my first realisation that CONVERGE20, organised in Brussels in May could be impacted by this new illness, which at the time had not yet been labelled a pandemic. Now, it seems so obvious—of course CONVERGE would be impacted, along with every other professional event around the globe this year.
A compliance event unlike any other
Over the past several years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many of you on our CONVERGE events. What started out as an annual Convercent user conference in Denver expanded to Europe, added roundtables and forums, and laid the foundation for a growing community of ethics and compliance visionaries. Many attendees over the past four years have described CONVERGE as unlike any other compliance event they’ve attended—and it’s not just the big production and exciting speakers that set it apart. It’s the sense of community and togetherness.
At first, it was hard to consider how we could capture that CONVERGE magic in a virtual setting. But we were determined that this year, CONVERGE wouldn’t be a placeholder until we can meet in person, it must continue to deliver value to all those who participate. A focus for us was to ensure we deliver, not only meangingful content, but a way for the ethics and compliance community to network, learn from and connect with each other.
CONVERGE20 will merge what used to be two conferences, in Denver and Brussels, into one global experience. By merging our Europe and US events, we’re doubling the momentum of inspiration, growth, and connection to fuel this years’ theme ‘The Ethics Movement.” This will be the first truly global ethics and compliance event, spanning across 14 time zones with three half days of inspiring content:
Convercent Customer Day: Oct 6
CONVERGE20 Conference: Oct 7-8
Many attendees over the past four years have described CONVERGE as unlike any other compliance event they’ve attended.
We’ve embraced the uncertainty and disruption that this year has brought as an exciting opportunity to reimagine CONVERGE in a virtual setting, and to deliver value to more of the ethics and compliance industry than we ever could in person. By making the event virtual, our attendees can save on travel budgets and invite their whole compliance teams to attend—especially as registration is complimentary this year.
Why Attend CONVERGE20
It’s my pleasure to announce that registration for CONVERGE20 is now live. Our list of speakers is growing every day, and we can’t wait to debut the full agenda in the coming weeks. Over the course of two high-impact days at CONVERGE20, you will:

- Participate in small group discussions—interactive sessions on the topics that are important to you and your organisation
- Network with your peers around the globe, and make new connections—although we won’t be around a table, you’ll be able to connect with your peers in new and exciting ways
