Product Demo Specialist

Help the Convercent sales team achieve its goals by conducting professional and persuasive product demonstrations. As the Product Demo Specialist, you'll learn our product and audience inside-out to create demos that clearly convey Convercent's value and drive new client acquisitions.

As Convercent’s Product Demo Specialist, you’ll drive client acquisitions by conducting persuasive product demonstrations that convey Convercent’s value to key prospects. Working directly with our sales team, you’ll understand our prospects’ business needs and highlight the product features and benefits that meet them. To succeed, you must be a passionate product evangelist with the ability to connect with your audience around product benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help the sales team acquire clients by delivering professional product demonstrations.
  • Assist in the development of product demo data to create a rich demonstration environment.
  • Maintain the most current Convercent product and service knowledge.
  • Provide training and best practices to internal customer-facing teams.
  • Develop product demo scripts based on your audience and industry vertical knowledge.
  • Provide product demo sales support for both SMB and Enterprise prospects.
  • Identify, document and share best practices discovered during product demos.

Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Convercent is seeking a experienced software Sr. QA Automation Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality and innovative products. The Sr. QA Automation Engineer will help manage the automation test framework; conversion of documented manual test cases to automation; functional test, database test, load, and performance test automation; and technical automation design.

Sr. QA Automation Engineer


If you're an experienced software Sr. QA Automation Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality and innovative products, strong self-starting and organizational skills, and interest in being a part of a fun hardworking team, we’d love to talk with you. The Sr. QA Automation Engineer is responsible for automation test solution. This will include the automation test framework and the conversion of documented manual test cases to automation. This also includes functional test automation, database test automation, load and performance test automation, and technical automation design documentation as well as other special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation of functional test cases within the established test framework and design.
  • Extension and maintenance of the automation framework when needed.
  • Define automation testing tasks during sprint planning, which may include test cases, test data, integration to the automation framework.
  • Contribute to defining test automation goals and planning.
  • Execution of test automation and research of failures.
  • Contribute to the goal of a fully integrated continuous delivery automation system integrated with the existing TFS build infrastructure.
  • File and track bugs, and work with development to make sure priority dates are met.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance, with specific experience working independently - developing test cases from specifications and executing those cases on a regular basis.
  • 2+ years focused on QA for end users, thinking about the customer experience (i.e. not just backend automation).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with colleagues from other disciplines, and a clear track record of getting things done.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle, especially in the analysis of software design and code development and its application to testing. To include both TDD and BDD.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts. MS SQLServer knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of n-tiered web and application server technology is a must.
  • Experience specifically with Microsoft software and development tools such as TFS, Visual Studio.
  • Experience using Visual Studio Test Edition is a must.
  • Experience with mobile applications testing, Monkey talk, Xamarin, UTest, etc.
  • Experience using Selenium automated test tools.
  • Ability to write automated test scripts, code in C# and understand complex .NET projects.
  • Knowledge and/or experience testing customer facing or e-commerce web applications is a plus.
  • A passion for or testing with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly with the team’s processes.
  • Extremely flexible and willing to switch tasks based on team’s needs.
  • Team-oriented but self-reliant.
  • Able to carry job tasks with little supervision.
  • Debugging skills - being able to understand the code being tested.

The Sr. QA Engineer will be handling QA and testing tasks throughout the software development life cycle with an emphasis on technology, automation, and manual test process.

If you're an experienced software QA engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality and innovative products, strong self-starting and organizational skills, and interest in being a part of a fun hardworking team, we’d love to talk with you. The Sr. QA Engineer is responsible for QA and testing tasks throughout the software development life cycle with an emphasis on technology, automation, and manual test process. This includes direct contribution in the analysis phase and feedback to the development team and its customers. The technical skill of the position will be involved in designing and implementing the quality and testing tasks for validation of code changes on the front and back end of the web/application servers. This also includes test automation, database test automation, and technical automation design documentation as well as other special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and own all software testing for a new software product offering: this includes test case planning, test development, automation, both manual and automated test execution, and reporting test results.
  • Implement automation testing tasks, which may include test cases, test data, integration to the automation framework.
  • Ensure product releases have been tested and meet required deliverables.
